Can anyone else relate to this feeling of wanting to help during this time of pandemic, but feeling useless just staying at home?
This was definitely me, but more recently, I've found hope in sewing scrubs for our doctors and nurses. You'll all have heard of the shortage in protective equipment in hospitals during this time, and I hadn't realised that most medical staff don't have enough scrubs for a fresh set each day.
Some of my girlfriends who are young doctors on the front line reached out and asked whether I and another friend could possibly assist, given the wait on ordering scrubs from the usual suppliers was significantly delayed, possibly months. Of course, we had to say yes.
I've made several sets now and I thought I would film a 'how to' video to help those who are wanting to also sew scrubs. They are not too difficult, but the first couple of pairs is always fiddly, so I hope that this video can reduce down some of that time and make it faster sewing.

I tried to make it really easy to follow, and if it can help one person here, I'll consider my job done! Let me know any feedback in the comments and I hope that you can find a sense of joy and peace during this time.
Stay safe everyone.
